Shop Local DirectoryWhen you shop at locally owned businesses, your money is re-circulated over and over and creates up to 75 percent more tax revenue to the community and state. Independent businesses raise the standard of living in a community. A study done in Austin, Texas that showed for every $100 spent in a local business $42 remains in the community. The same $100 spent in a chain store leaves only $13 behind. Shop Local Directory - SE West Virginia |
